Always access to an entrepreneur

As an entrepreneur, you continuously face new challenges. You want to grow your business without having to solve every problem yourself. Make sure you can call an experienced entrepreneur and investor who has been through it before, who thinks with you and who is on your side.

Entrepreneurial problems don't fit in a box

When you go to a lawyer with a problem, you get a legal solution. The same applies to your tax advisor, your notary, your software developer, your negotiator, your marketer, and your SEO expert.

As an entrepreneur, you know better than anyone that the situations you encounter don't fall purely into one area of expertise. You want access to all expertise at once. And preferably someone who understands what entrepreneurship means and really thinks with you.

Here you talk to someone who has experience in all those areas.

All interests aligned

How often do you hesitate to call an expert because you know the meter starts running and you don't know where it will end? How often have you been surprised afterwards by the size of such an invoice?

With hourly billing, it's difficult to align interests. You want to be able to rely on someone you can always call, without hesitation.

We agree to work based on a fixed monthly amount or through participation. This way, we both share the risk and want the same thing. Then you always know where you stand.

Your own hotline

Running a company is complex enough as an entrepreneur. On one hand, you want to better serve current customers, attract new customers, and make your team happy. On the other hand, there are regulations, every investment affects your cap table, and every contract affects your freedom.

You really just want to create value and have a sounding board you can consult whenever you have questions.

You can call me anytime you have a question. Whether it's about your co-founder you can't get along with anymore, or about that major client who's being difficult.

I've been working with Paul since 2013. It's always great to brainstorm with Paul about complex entrepreneurial challenges. With his positive but critical attitude, he quickly gets to the core of the problem. He asks sharp questions and quickly maps out situations, which always lead to new perspectives. Paul's role in my entrepreneurial career and Firmhouse is invaluable.

Paul joined Quicargo as a shareholder in 2016 and was an integral part of the establishment of Quicargo in the Netherlands. During the first three years, Paul supported us with his excellent knowledge and experience in all our financial and legal matters. In 2019, as we were scaling, Paul joined the team as an interim CFO. Paul is one of the first advisors in my network that I ask for strategic advice. He always gives me honest feedback and finds a solution for almost any financial or legal topic. Paul is a great professional to have on your side if you have the ambition to change the world.

Paul is always super sharp, analytical, and a beacon of knowledge. When scaling up Keuze.nl, I increasingly encountered challenges where additional experience and knowledge make the difference. Paul has played an invaluable role in this: with his grey hair, he prevents me as an entrepreneur from getting grey hair.

How can you get this too?

1. Send a message

Send a message with a short description of your situation and your mail or phone number.

2. We meet

We look at where you are, what you need and if the click is there.

3. Grey hairs on speed dial

You call me if you have a question about how to solve that conflict, or if you should accept that deal, or because you have an important negotiation.

What do you get?

Better decisions

You make no decisions without the right expertise in your back pocket. You get advice from an experienced entrepreneur and investor with multiple specializations.

Equal interests

I prefer not to work on an hourly basis. This way our interests are aligned. Everything revolves around the further success of your business.

Direct feedback

If you have a question, you can ask it directly. You don't have to schedule an appointment first. Of course I'm sometimes already in a conversation, but I call you back directly afterwards.

How do we keep our interests aligned?

You wonder how I can do this without charging you hourly. By establishing a long-term relationship as a strategic partner.

Booking on Demand

You just book a call whenever you need me. And we make a call then. And that's it. No strings attached.

  • Hourly rate

  • No strings attached

Subscription

Based on our first conversations, I make an estimate of what you need from me. We agree on a fixed amount per month. And that's it. Some months you need me less, some months more.

  • Fixed price per month

  • No hourly invoice

  • No unexpected costs

Participation

We agree that I will take an equity participation in your company now or in the future. I take the full risk. If your company grows, we both benefit from it. Our interests are now fully aligned with each other.

  • Equal interests

  • Risk-free for you

  • No unexpected costs

Is this for everyone?

What you have read here is not available to everyone. Time is your and my most limited resource. So there is a hard upper limit to the number of entrepreneurs for whom I can and want to fulfill this role.

The two most prominent at the moment are Firmhouse and Keuze.nl. There is still room for at least one more company. And full is full, until there is again a place free.

Do you recognize this?

If you recognize yourself in this list, then I would like to talk to you further:

B2B with turnover
You have a B2B company between 3 and 20 people, where turnover is generated
Entrepreneur problems
You recognize that entrepreneur problems are difficult to handle in one area of expertise
Open
You dare to admit that you can use help
Coachable
You are willing to be coached

Take the first step!

Are you here and do you recognize yourself in the complexity of your entrepreneur problems? Would you like to have a Grey Fox (experienced investor and entrepreneur) on speed dial and are you therefore interested in speaking with me?
